Who we are

A studio born from loving games and wanting to make something of our own

Cup Code began with a simple idea carrying a larger meaning: a love of games should grow beyond playing them and become the work of making them

Over time, the idea grew from one game into a wider vision for a studio building games, digital products, and the systems helping operate and improve them

Today, Cup Code Studio brings design, engineering, user experience, and operation into one product journey

Studio philosophy

Why we build this way

01

Start with the experience

Whether the product is a game or an application, we first consider what the user should feel and what they need to accomplish

02

Quality lives in the details

Quality is not a final layer added before launch. It comes from small decisions spanning design, code, testing, and operation

03

Build, then test

An idea is not enough on its own, so we reach a usable, testable version early before expanding it

04

Launch is not the end

What happens after launch matters as much as what comes before it, from monitoring and support to feedback and improvements

Our vision

Where we want to go

To build a Saudi studio able to develop high-quality games and digital products with a clear identity, while improving our ability with every project

We care less about the number of projects than giving each project a clear reason, knowing why we are building it, and how it becomes better

Our mission

Our mission

Turn ideas and problems into products ready for use, testing, and improvement while treating technical, visual, and operational experience as one whole

What quality means

Quality is more than appearance

A beautiful product that is hard to use is not complete, and good code is not enough when it does not serve the user experience

A game with a strong idea will not reach its intended effect if pacing, sound, or performance are neglected

We see quality as the relationship between idea, execution, experience, stability, and detail

Game development

Game experiences tested as one system

We design and build game experiences across gameplay systems, world, sound, interface, and performance, continually testing what adds real value

View projects

Digital product development

Products starting from a clear need

We build applications and platforms from a clear need, then turn the idea into a user flow, interface, and system ready to operate and improve

View projects

Operation and continuous development

The work continues after the build

We care about what follows the build: support, issue monitoring, content management, experience improvements, and the next releases

Working disciplines

How the work comes together at Cup Code

These disciplines overlap according to each project and do not claim separate departments.

A visual model connecting the studio’s working disciplines
  • Product

    Problem, scope, and priority definition

  • Engineering

    Architecture, implementation, and integrations

  • Game Development

    Gameplay, systems, and performance

  • Design

    Flows, interface, and accessibility

  • Operations

    Launch, monitoring, and improvement

  • Support

    Knowledge, requests, and issue handling

  • Community

    Feedback, proposals, and public updates

What we do not do

Clear scope matters to us

  • We do not promise a feature before it is approved
  • We do not publish a date before it is confirmed
  • We do not present figures or results that have not been verified
  • We do not build a feature because it is popular when it does not serve the product

From idea to operation

Eight stages keeping each decision close to the goal

  1. 01
    Discover

    Understand the problem

We review the idea, goal, user, and what needs to change

  2. 02
    Define

    Define the scope

We decide what belongs in the first release and what should wait

  3. 03
    Design

    Design the experience

We shape the user flow or gameplay experience before expanding it

  4. 04
    Build

    Build

We turn decisions into a working system

  5. 05
    Validate

    Validate

We look for errors, friction, and whether the experience meets its goal

  6. 06
    Launch

    Launch the approved release

We do not treat launch as the last step in a product’s life

  7. 07
    Operate

    Operate and support

We follow issues, usage, and updates

  8. 08
    Improve

    Improve

We use feedback and evidence to define the next release

Product principles

Practical principles guiding what we build and how we operate it

Clarity before complexity

If a user cannot understand the path, the experience needs improvement.

Privacy in proportion to need

We collect only the data the system needs.

Review before publication

Public content and features pass review before appearing.

Evidence before assumptions

Improvement relies on actual use and feedback.

Security is part of design

We include protection in the product’s core decisions.

Operation is part of the product

Support, monitoring, and administration are parts of the same experience.

Have a project?

Start with a clear project request

If you have a product, idea, or operational problem needing a digital solution, share the goal and the scope available to you.

We contact you after reviewing the request according to its type and status.

Start your project
  1. 01You submit the request.
  2. 02We review the goal and scope.
  3. 03We contact you when details need clarification.
  4. 04We define the next step when the project is a fit.
