Document summary
This policy separates service and marketing messages and defines consent evidence, source, personalization, unsubscribe, and suppression.
Service and marketing messages
A service message needed for security, a request, or a contract is not turned into an advertisement. Newsletters, offers, and promotional updates use a separate choice where required.
Consent
We do not use a preselected box or condition a project request on marketing consent. Evidence records channel, purpose, text, policy version, time, and source, and users may choose topic and frequency.
List sources
Addresses come from direct subscription or a relationship supporting a specific message with a clear choice. We do not buy lists or mix project contacts into a newsletter list without a separate basis.
Message identity
The message shows Cup Code identity, purpose, a valid reply route, and unsubscribe link. We do not use misleading subjects or hide promotional nature.
Measurement and personalization
We use minimal data for delivery, bounce, and complaint handling. Open or click tracking and content personalization require assessment and suitable choice. Optional measurement may be disabled without losing service messages.
Unsubscribe
Every marketing email provides a free unsubscribe link that works without sign-in. Future sending stops without undue delay. A limited address is retained in a suppression list to prevent automatic resubscription.
Bounces and complaints
A permanent bounce or reliable complaint suppresses the address and triggers source and campaign review. A suppressed address is reactivated only through a new provable request.
