SSD Required
ROAR uses detailed environments, so SSD storage is recommended, with NVMe preferred to reduce streaming stutter.
System Requirements
These requirements are estimated and may change during development. They are intended to give a clear view of expected PC / Steam performance.
ROAR is still in development, so final requirements may change after optimization, hardware testing, and Unreal Engine 5 performance tuning.

16 GB is the entry point, but 32 GB is better for a stable experience, especially on high settings.
Because ROAR relies on cinematic lighting, shadows, dense foliage, and atmospheric effects, the GPU is the biggest performance factor.
1440p and 4K require stronger hardware, especially with shadows, fog, and environmental detail set to Ultra.
It may run technically, but the experience is not guaranteed. SSD is the correct choice for this type of environment.
Not for the minimum target, but RTX-class GPUs or equivalents are better for higher stability and visual quality.
No. These are estimated and will change based on optimization and testing.
Steam Deck support is not confirmed yet. It will be announced later if tested and approved.
These numbers are not final. This page will be updated closer to release after performance testing across multiple hardware configurations.
