Public Transparency and Accountability

This page explains what policies, decisions, incidents, indicators, and community impact are published, and what is withheld to protect people, security, and contracts.

Published and effective as an operational document, without claiming external legal review

This is a public operational text. It does not replace a project contract, a product-specific privacy notice, or legal review based on the organization and its actual service providers.

Document summary

This page explains what policies, decisions, incidents, indicators, and community impact are published, and what is withheld to protect people, security, and contracts.

What we publish

We publish effective public policies and change logs, official Council decisions, service status, approved public incident updates, rights and complaint routes, and meaningful aggregated indicators.

What is not published

We do not publish personal data, client secrets, exploitable vulnerabilities, keys, internal notes, unfinalized offers, employee data, or restricted contract details.

Redaction

We use the minimum necessary redaction and give a general reason such as privacy, security, or contractual obligation. Confidentiality is not used to hide a material error that can be explained without exposing protected information.

Indicators

We distinguish views, participation, and outcomes. Indicators show period, method, and data limits and do not invent figures where no actual record exists. Trends use consistent definitions.

Community impact

An implemented suggestion links to a release or update and outcome evidence where available. Task closure does not mark a suggestion implemented before project owner approval, and contributor credit is preserved on merge.

Corrections

A material public error is corrected with date and summary and the prior version stays archived. We distinguish factual correction from a changed decision or policy.

Request clarification

You may request an explanation of a public policy or decision through Contact using its code or link. A response does not disclose another person’s data or a restricted document.
