1. Purpose of This Content Policy

This policy explains the rules that govern content posted, submitted, displayed, or shared through the Cup Code website, including comments, posts, forms, accounts, messages, media, and any community or game-related content.

Our goal is to protect website quality, community safety, intellectual property rights, and the studio’s reputation while allowing criticism, discussion, and creative participation in an organized and respectful way.

By using the website or submitting content, you agree to follow this policy, along with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all types of content inside the website or connected official services.

This includes blog comments, usernames, avatars, profile bios, contact forms, reports, support messages, newsletter submissions, articles, tags, links, and any user-submitted content.

The policy also applies to content related to studio games such as ROAR, High School 53, and any future projects when it appears in our official channels.

3. Allowed Content

We welcome useful, respectful, and relevant content related to the studio, games, development, or community.

Allowed content includes questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, technical reports, theories, opinions, comments, fan art, relevant links, and discussions that add value.

Allowed content must be clear, non-misleading, and not unlawful or infringing on the rights of others.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not post or submit threats, harassment, abuse, bullying, hate, discrimination, racism, personal targeting, or incitement against a person or group.

Pornographic, sexually explicit, unnecessarily shocking, or unsuitable content is not allowed.

Malicious links, suspicious files, phishing attempts, spam, unauthorized ads, or content intended to deceive users are prohibited.

Content that violates law, encourages unlawful activity, or harms the website, users, or studio is not allowed.

5. Criticism and Reviews

Honest criticism is allowed. You may criticize the game, website, performance, design, decisions, or communication style.

Criticism must target the idea or product, not the person. Insults, defamation, harassment, and incitement are not accepted.

Repeated hostile criticism intended to disrupt discussion may be removed or restricted.

6. Comments and Discussions

Comments should stay reasonably related to the topic.

Off-topic, repetitive, hostile, misleading, or untrusted-link comments may be removed.

We may close or restrict comments on any page if they become spam, abusive, or unmanageable.

7. Usernames and Profile Images

Usernames, profile images, and bios may not contain abuse, impersonation, sexual content, hate symbols, another person’s personal information, or attempts to deceive.

You may not use a name or logo that suggests you are an employee or official representative of Cup Code without authorization.

We may modify or remove a name, image, or profile content, or restrict the account if it violates this policy.

8. External Links

Links may be shared if they are relevant, safe, and useful.

Phishing links, malware, scam websites, suspicious shortened links, or unauthorized advertising are not allowed.

We may remove any link that cannot be reasonably trusted or does not add clear value.

9. Spam and Self-Promotion

Repeated messages, comment flooding, and random links are not allowed.

Self-promotion is allowed only when relevant, limited, and not disruptive.

Promotional content may be removed, and accounts using the website only as an advertising platform may be restricted.

10. Leaks and Unauthorized Information

Unauthorized leaks, internal files, unreleased images, closed-test content, or information obtained without permission are not allowed.

If you receive internal or unpublished content, do not post it on the website or community channels.

We may remove leaks and take action against accounts that share or promote them.

11. Spoilers

If your content contains story details, endings, or major surprises from our games, use a clear spoiler warning.

We may remove or hide content that spoils the experience for others without warning.

Respecting player experience is part of community quality.

12. Sensitive and Horror Content

Our games may contain psychological horror, tension, violence, blood, body horror, or dark themes.

These elements may be discussed in game context, but they may not be used for harassment, shock abuse, or threats.

We may request content warnings or hide materials that are too graphic or unsuitable for public display.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

Do not post content you do not have rights to use, including images, music, models, text, logos, or protected artwork without permission.

By submitting content, you confirm that you own the rights or have proper permission to submit it.

We may remove content suspected of violating intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights.

14. Fan Content

We welcome fan content such as art, theories, clips, analysis, and designs, as long as it respects our rights and the rights of others.

You may not sell game assets, redistribute them, or present them as standalone products.

Fan content may be subject to a separate Fan Content Policy if published.

15. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated or AI-assisted content may be shared if it is clear, non-misleading, and does not violate the rights of others.

AI may not be used to impersonate developers or users, or to spread false information in the studio’s name.

We may ask for clarification about content origin or remove content if it is misleading, infringing, or harmful to the community.

16. Personal Information and Privacy

Do not post personal information about yourself or others in public areas if it is sensitive or may cause harm.

Addresses, phone numbers, private emails, personal photos without consent, private accounts, or sensitive data about another person are not allowed.

If you see content exposing personal information, report it instead of sharing it.

17. Reports and Technical Support

When submitting a technical report, provide useful information such as game name, device, operating system, GPU, issue description, and reproduction steps.

Do not submit files containing personal or sensitive data unless support specifically requests them through an appropriate channel.

False, abusive, or repeated reports intended to annoy may result in account restrictions.

18. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, hide, or remove content that violates this policy or affects website quality.

Moderation may be done manually or with technical tools to detect spam, abuse, or malicious links.

Failure to remove specific content immediately does not mean approval or waiver of our right to act later.

19. Possible Actions

Depending on the violation, actions may include content removal, content editing, comment hiding, link disabling, warnings, account restrictions, account suspension, or bans.

Serious violations such as threats, personal information exposure, malicious links, leaks, or impersonation may lead to direct action without warning.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect the website and community even if a specific case is not listed word-for-word in this policy.

20. Appealing a Content Decision

If you believe your content was removed or restricted by mistake, you may contact us calmly through email or the contact form.

Include the content link, account name, and a short explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect.

Reviewing an appeal does not guarantee reversal.

21. Relationship with Other Policies

This policy works together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, EULA, Intellectual Property Policy, and Asset Policy.

If there is a conflict between this policy and a more specific policy, the more specific policy applies within its scope.

If content appears on an external platform such as Discord, Steam, or YouTube, that platform’s terms also apply.

22. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time as the website, community, or operational needs evolve.

The last updated date will be changed when material updates are made.

Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the latest version.
